AUTHENTICITY – Apola is the new Greek Fast Casual Restaurant offering our customers authentic Greek Gyro! Apola in Greek means “with everything”, or “the works” and is the first word that comes out of the cashier’s mouth once you order a Gyro in Greece! At Apola, we believe that the customer should be able to get a truly authentic Greek meal just the way he or she wants it. In Greece, a Pita Sandwich served Apola is typically in a pita with tzatziki, tomatoes, onions, and french fries (in the sandwich, not on the side!) but the customer can still fully customize it. That is what we aim for at Apola - we want our customers to have complete control over what goes on their plate, bowl, or pita sandwich; or just order it Apola! We are committed to providing a truly authentic Greek Fast Casual dining experience. All butchers preparing our authentic hand-stacked Gyro here in the United States were trained by butchers who were flown in from Greece! If that’s not enough, our opening teams were trained by people brought in from Greece for the training sessions!
QUALITY – We are committed to offering our customers high-quality meats that contain no MSG, no additives, and no fillers. All our protein options are gluten free, and our chicken, as well as our beef and lamb options are also certified Halal! Gyro is a craving – Gyro is a treat, but that doesn’t mean it has to be unhealthy! By visiting Apola you can satisfy your craving and close your eyes while you enjoy the most authentic Greek meal you will get without buying a plane ticket.

About Our Locations
Apola Greek Grill locations can range in size from 1,200 to 2,800 sq. feet. Regardless of unit size, Apola Greek Grill locations are culinary “destination” spots, designed for success, regardless of location - whether in a storefront, industrial space, traditional mall, ghost kitchen, or Main Street setting. Because the food and the experience is the traffic draw, Apola Greek Grill does not have a cookie-cutter approach to retail locations. Rather, population demographics, surrounding businesses, marketing environment, and word-of-mouth opportunities are all factors when selecting an optimal Apola Greek Grill site. Apola Greek Grill has high standards for excellence in design and functionality for each of their locations, however, we do recognize that each potential location must be analyzed on an individual basis and each may vary slightly but will stay within our strict guidelines.
The Perfect Franchisee
Out of 10 owners, we expect that 4 will be spouse management teams, 3 will be manage-the-manager and 3 will be owner-operated by individuals who, like us, have a passion for quality Greek meals and the friendly service that Apola Greek Grill provides.
OWNER-OPERATOR – This individual has unique and personal interests that create a real passion for work and derives enjoyment from providing a positive experience for others! This individual will usually have the desire to work closely with our customers and staff throughout the life of the business and may also work alongside a staff member to manage the business. This provides the flexibility to come and go from the business as desired, working from an office within the location. A salary, commission, and bonus position can be enjoyed by this owner in addition to the profit beyond the monthly break-even point.
MANAGE-THE-MANAGER – This individual prefers to manage the business; NOT operate the business. This managing process is defined as having an office position within the location or a home-based office, both of which give the owner the flexibility to managerially come and go and create their own schedule. In addition, this individual can utilize their respective sales/marketing, operations, or administrative experience. This individual will often recruit a spouse, partner, family member, or in many cases prefer the traditional methods of assembling a team to grow the business. This form of ownership yields a strategic opportunity to manage multiple units and supplement or even replace your annual income.
SPOUSE MANAGEMENT TEAM – The spouse teams use complementary skills and share in a division of labor. Typically, one spouse enjoys the sales, marketing, and customer relations component while the other spouse prefers the business, administrative, and operational aspects of the business. Usually, both partners will collectively represent a unified management culture to the staff and both spouses have the flexibility to enjoy the social aspect with the clientele.
MULTI-UNIT OPERATOR – This type of operator may own and operate a number of businesses and may be looking to diversify and complement their portfolio. They are very well seasoned restaurant operators and understand what it takes to be successful in business. Like the Manage-the-Manager, this individual prefers to manage the business; NOT operate the business on a local level.
