Prosper Group acquires 64 acre site Hawks Ridge in Huntsville, Alabama

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (PRWEB) February 08, 2022 - Prosper Group, a Tampa, Florida real estate developer, led by Jay Roberts acquired Hawks Ridge, a 64 acre raw land site in Huntsville, Alabama for an undisclosed amount in mid December 2021. The property was purchased through a joint-venture between Prosper Group and SSG, a Miami-based development group led by Manny Rodriguez, from RFM Properties, LLC, a Huntsville-based developer.

The joint-venture plans to build high end luxury homes ranging from $700,000 to over a million dollars overlooking downtown Huntsville. The property is located in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the area and sits atop a ridge with unmatched sweeping city and valley views.

We were attracted to the site because of its unique and exclusive location at the top of Chapman Mountain overlooking Huntsville. Most residential sites in Huntsville are on flat land without views so our product will be highly differentiated from whats currently being offered. Huntsville Alabama is the state's largest city overtaking Birmingham according to U.S. Census numbers. Huntsville city has a population of 215,006 with the greater metro being home to nearly half a million residents and has seen rapid growth over the past decade driven by tech, engineering and manufacturing jobs. The city is nicknamed Rocket City for being home to the U.S. space program. The growing city has attracted major corporations such as SpaceX, Toyota, Mazda, Boeing, Facebook, Blue Origin and the FBI who have collectively invested billions of dollars in the region.
