MaintenX International Goes Onsite to Help Build Habitat for Humanity Home

TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) April 15, 2021 - MaintenX International is hard at work helping another deserving family become homeowners in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco. MaintenX team members volunteered their time and expertise to construct the future Horton home in Clearwater, Florida, from installing windows to painting and priming.

Homebuilding projects like those we undertake with Habitat for Humanity are especially meaningful for us, said Bill Schaphorst, MaintenX VP of Business Development. We see our team members as an extended family, and we can't wait to see the Horton family turn this house into a home.

This is MaintenXs fourth home build with Habitat for Humanity, continuing a multi-year partnership. For the first time, MaintenX team members worked side-by-side with the Horton family, adding a special dimension to the work.

It was the happiest construction site Ive ever seen, said Mary Ann Velez, MaintenX Director of National Service. Working alongside Michael and his family made for great team spirit, and reminded us of the personal value of a home.

MaintenX team members are assisting with various elements of the construction, including window and hurricane shutter installation, painting, and landscaping. In keeping with COVID restrictions, all volunteer work is being conducted outdoors.

The Hortons are on track to move into their new home in late spring.
