COLUMBUS, Ohio (PRWEB) August 03, 2021 - Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) members nominated homebuyer consumer advocate Andrew P. Show, Jr. for the 2021 REBAC Hall of Fame, and an independent panel of real estate industry leaders selected him.
Show, a longtime member, former president, and current board member of the nonprofit National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA), has been a leader in the real estate community during his substantial career in real estate and an advocate for home-buying consumers.
'Andrew has dedicated his career to the simple idea that homebuyers should have dedicated and loyal home buyer representation when purchasing real estate,' NAEBA President Richard Harty said.
Show, the owner of Buyer's Resource Realty Services, has made a visible difference in exclusive buyer's representation in the metro Columbus area and nationally. He has demonstrated that he is a source of knowledge and experience in working with buyers and has shown the highest principles and furtherance of the principles of good ethical practice among REALTORS.
'Andrew has volunteered countless hours to further the mission of NAEBA and spread the word about how only exclusive buyer agents can provide true home buyer representation,' said Kenneth Reid, who is the president of NAEBA Referral Service, Inc.
Exclusive buyers agents are unique in the real estate industry, having chosen to represent only home buyers. NAEBA members do not list homes for sale; therefore, they avoid the conflict of interests and divided loyalty common when the same real estate firm attempts to work with both the home buyer and the home seller in the same real estate transaction.
'Andrew exemplifies what it means to be a loyal and trustworthy fiduciary,' Richard Rosa, NAEBA's president-elect, said. 'His buyer clients always know he has their back.'
Show is a native of Columbus, OH and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He also holds a commercial pilot license and is also an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Law and Principles and Practices at Columbus State.
ABOUT NAEBA: Members of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA) believe there is a better way of working in the real estate industry. NAEBA members voluntarily dedicate their careers to exclusively representing home buyers, providing fiduciary-level duties to protect home-buying consumers.
Exclusive buyer agents are 100 percent loyal to home buyers 100 percent of the time and work at real estate brokerages that do not ever represent home sellers. NAEBA members are true buyer agents.
NAEBA members do not accept listings, advertise properties for sale, or represent home sellers; therefore, its members avoid the conflicts of interest common at traditional real estate companies, which attempt to represent both buyers and sellers in the same transaction.
Consumer advocates created NAEBA in the mid-1990s to fill the void faced by homebuyers and start a professional association that would provide home buyers a higher standard of ethics.
NAEBA also matches home-buying consumers with its members around the country for no additional cost.
