The scholarship program, which was open to all of Leap's student housing applicants, received hundreds of submissions across thousands of student housing properties in the U.S.
Leaps Live and Learn Scholarships for 2023 were focused on students understanding of financial aid and tools to lessen the financial burden of getting a college degree.
Leap is dedicated to helping students secure housing and overcome financial obstacles during their pursuit of Higher Education. The Leap Live and Learn Scholarship program provides financial assistance for college-related expenses such as tuition, books, and supplies, empowering students to achieve their academic goals and long-term success. The winners of the 2023 Leap Live and Learn Scholarship attend the following universities:
Texas A&M, Graduate Student University of New Hampshire, Sophomore University of North Carolina, Junior Washington State University, Sophomore University of Nebraska - Lincoln, Graduate Student
Each winner has received a $5,000 scholarship to help support their educational pursuits.
The winners were extremely excited to be the 2023 recipients of the Leap Live & Learn Scholarship. One of the scholarship recipients, a graduate student at Texas A&M, shared her reflections on the scholarship process, The process gave me a chance to reflect on my past, what I went through, and how all of those experiences and hardships shaped who I am today and who I desire to be in the future. Another recipient, a graduate student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, said, The fact that people like you believe in my potential and are prepared to invest in my education means the world to me.
