MAITLAND, Fla. (PRWEB) August 27, 2021 - Central Florida home remodeling firm, KBF Design Gallery, was awarded in the Design Specialty category in the 68th Annual Parade of Homes Orlando for their Rustic Modern Kitchen Renovation entry. The Parade of Homes is a free, self-guided tour that is open to the public and draws thousands of attendees every year. The Greater Orlando Building Association (GOBA) holds the Parade of Homes to showcase Central Floridas most inspiring homebuilders, designers and remodeling firms.
The Parade of Homes originally included only new construction homes but recently added categories for full home remodels as well as the design specialty category to showcase design and building excellence in kitchens and bathrooms. This marks the first year that KBF Design Gallery has participated in the Parade of Homes, and KBFs principals, Adam Vellequette and Ashley Sheaffer, were thrilled to be a part of the experience:
Considering weve grown up in the family business, the Parade of Homes is an event weve been aware of for most of our lives, shares Ashley. Its an absolute honor to see our work showcased in this event for the first time. Orlando has such a wide array of talented designers and builders, were humbled to see our Rustic Modern Kitchen Renovation recognized alongside their work.
KBFs entry into the Parade of Homes is a kitchen that they recently remodeled in Longwood, Florida. The rustic yet modern style of the kitchen was designed to blend seamlessly with the homes existing architecture. The charm and warmth of rustic touches (such as raw wood and large windows to allow natural light) combined with clean lines and modern technology define rustic modern style and lend to its broad appeal. Top-of-the-line Sub-Zero appliances, an enlarged window above a new farmhouse sink, floating shelves in natural wood, and hand-hewn textured beams at each of the kitchens two entryways are some of the stand-out features in the new design. KBF Design Gallery expanded the kitchens footprint, adding a barreled ceiling and custom hood above the new Wolf range in the newly-captured space. The Parade of Homes judging panel identified this newly-created area of the kitchen as its Outstanding Feature.
Our entire team at KBF deserves the credit for this award, states Adam. Our remodeling approach is always a team effort from designing the floor plan to selecting the materials and finishes, from our demo team to every one of our skilled tradespeople our entire team focuses on creating innovative, custom spaces of the highest quality.
Ashley adds: Were already looking forward to next years Parade. We have so many great remodels in the works right now. Its going to be difficult to choose which to enter!
