Gilbane Development Company Announces Promotion of Russell Broderick to Executive Vice President

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (PRWEB) April 13, 2023 - Gilbane Development Company, the real estate development, financing, and ownership arm of Gilbane, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Russell W. Broderick to Executive Vice President.

Russ joined Gilbane in 1992 and has vast experience in managing all aspects of development. He serves on the companys executive committee. Russ has more than thirty years of experience in real estate development and construction and participates in projects from market and site identification through development, stabilization, and operations.

Most recently, Russ has served as vice president leading and overseeing strategic development and implementation of both the student housing and the public-private partnership (P3) operations, while managing a team of P3, development and asset management professionals working across the United States. The companys trademarked Next Level of Student Housing purpose-built student housing service line has grown to more than 20,000+ beds under Russ direction. Additionally, Russ provides leadership for the core P3 group, developing social infrastructure solutions for partners in higher education, K-12, government, and health care to deliver a full scope of vertically integrated design-build-finance-operate-maintain (DBFOM) public-private partnership (P3) services.

Russ continues to take on increasing responsibilities as an integral member of our Company growth, noted Ed Broderick, president and CEO of Gilbane Development Company. In his new role, Russ will lead the delivery of student housing, P3, and operations within integrated communities that meet the needs of our investors and residents.
