NASHVILLE, Tenn. (PRWEB) September 17, 2021 - On behalf of its DRG Industrial Fund I, Distribution Realty Group (DRG) announces 3.5 million square feet of new speculative industrial development projects located in Chicago, Indianapolis, and Memphis.
In Chicago, construction is underway on DRGs two-building speculative project in the Meridian Business Campus in the I-88 Corridor Submarket. The 215,000 square foot project is scheduled to deliver in the first quarter of 2022. Since 2015, DRG has acquired and developed 14 buildings in Chicago totaling more than 1.86 million square feet.
In Indianapolis, construction has commenced on Reagan Logistics Park, a two-building 1 million square foot campus in Indianapolis Southwest/Airport Submarket. When fully built out, this project will bring DRGs Indianapolis presence to more than 1.3 million square feet of product adjacent to Indianapolis International Airport, home of the countrys second largest FedEx hub.
In Memphis, DRG has acquired 187 Acres adjacent to its recently delivered 810,225 square foot Stateline West Distribution Center. The two buildings planned on the new land, known as Stateline North, will bring the total park capacity to over 3 million square feet in a location 8 miles from the FedEx global hub.
