Cowork Frederick Announces Expansion Grand Opening Held on April 20

FREDERICK, Md. (PRWEB) April 11, 2023 - Cowork Frederick, a community-focused, collaborative working environment for a diverse group of freelancers, micro-business owners, and remote workers, announces their expansion into a second building. Their Grand (re)Opening will be celebrated at 120 E Patrick St, Frederick, April 20, from 4 to 7 pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony, refreshments, live music, and door prizes. The event will highlight Cowork Fredericks new space and offerings, as well as member-owned businesses.

Cowork Frederick first opened in September 2012 at 122 E Patrick St with 20 members, and has since grown to a community of over 60 individuals. Planning for an expansion began in 2017 based on feedback from members who wanted not just more square footage but also a wider variety of experiences.

When the building directly next door to the original space went up for sale, it was the perfect opportunity to expand. Renovating a historic building is no small feat, especially when complicated by a global pandemic, which makes the celebration even greater.

Cowork Frederick now has over 5000 square feet of coworking place with desks and casual seating, areas to gather and socialize, phone booths, plus two dedicated meeting rooms available 7 days a week, four private offices, and four short term micro-apartments that are perfect for digital nomads.
