Caring Transitions of Lakeville officially opened for business in March and is owned and operated by Cindy Kasak.

Cindy Kasak has been working most recently in real estate, specializing in staging for her team and consulting with homeowners on downsizing and preparing their homes for sale. The mother of two was familiar with Caring Transitions, as her parents enlisted their help with moving three years ago in Colorado. Cindy saw the empathy and helpfulness of Caring Transitions firsthand, and after several discussions with a friend about becoming a franchisee, she decided she could offer the same service in Lakeville.

We have have so many newer senior living facilities opening up around [us] that obviously theres a real need for this business, Cindy explained. I just want to be a resource for people like my parents who need some assistance, but might not want to rely heavily on their busy children to get them settled. Theres just a void here and Im hoping to fill that.

Caring Transitions of Lakeville is proud to serve the Lakeville community as well as Prior Lake, Burnsville, Savage, Elko New Market and Minneapolis. The company currently has more than 280 franchise locations serving families across the country.

Cindy added that after nearly 30 years of working in the tax field, she always wanted to help people. She believes that her experience with real estate will pour over to this new venture in being able to assist in what can be a tough transition for many folks.

Living a life of service has always been a passion, Cindy said. Thats why I just wanted to do something that I am proud of while serving a need in the community.
