Winners of Inaugural National CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards Announced

For over 20 years, the CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards have recognized technology executives for outstanding leadership and the business value created by technology innovation. For the first time ever, ORBIE winners from the InspireCIO Leadership Network chapters across the US competed in the National CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards.

ATLANTA (PRWEB) July 22, 2021 - InspireCIO Leadership Network announced the winners of its inaugural National CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards. InspireCIO recognized chief information officers in eight key categories Super Global, Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Large Corporate, Corporate, Healthcare, and Nonprofit/Public Sector.

The 2021 National CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards winners are:

Mamatha Chamarthi, CIO, Stellantis received the Super Global ORBIE for organizations over $16 billion annual revenue & multi-national operations.

Donie Lochan, CTO, Invesco received the Global ORBIE for organizations over $2 billion annual revenue & multi-national operations.

Kristie Grinnell, Global CIO, VP IT & SCM, GDIT received the Large Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $3 billion annual revenue.

Michael Mathews, SVP & CIO, Deluxe received the Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $1.5 billion annual revenue.

Usman Waheed, Chief Information & Technology Officer, Knoll received the Large Corporate ORBIE for organizations over $1 billion annual revenue.

Joan Kuehl, EVP & CIO, Elevate Credit, Inc. received the Corporate ORBIE for organizations up to $1 billion annual revenue.

Craig Richardville, SVP, Chief Information & Digital Officer, SCL Health received the Healthcare ORBIE for hospitals & healthcare organizations.

Tanya Hannah, CIO, King County, WA received the Nonprofit/Public Sector ORBIE for government, education & nonprofit organizations.

The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States. Since inception in 1998, over 1,500 CIOs have been honored as finalists and over 350 CIO of the Year winners have received the prestigious ORBIE Award.
