NEW YORK and ROCKY HILL, Conn. (PRWEB) July 21, 2021 - Out Leadership, the oldest and largest coalition of global companies working to improve LGBTQ+ equality in the world, has welcomed Henkel, the company behind well-known brands such as Loctite adhesives, Dial, Schwarzkopf hair care, all laundry detergent, and Snuggle fabric softeners, as its latest member in 2021.

Henkels focus on building a company culture based on diversity and inclusion as the key driver of creativity, innovation, and invention is closely aligned with Out Leaderships mission to use the power of business to advance LGBTQ+ equality, said Todd Sears, CEO & Founder of Out Leadership. A newly established Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council A robust Supplier Diversity Program Scholarship and internships programs with key partners, including Scholarship America, INROADS and CEE Centre For Young Black Professionals. In addition, Henkel has 15 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) across North America, including: Asian/Pacific Islander, Black/African American, Emerging Leaders, Hispanic/LatinX, LGBTQ+, Military/Veterans, Multicultural, and Women. ERGs are employee-led groups that create a sense of belonging and safe places for discussions, facilitate networking, enhance career development, and build community. They are open to all employees.
