NEEDHAM, Mass. (PRWEB) August 24, 2021 - With concern about the Delta and subsequent variants, the updated CDC guidance, and cases spiking, Cambridge Innovation Institute (CII) announces the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy to ensure maximum safety of employees and in-person event participants.
Throughout the pandemic, CIIs top and uncompromising priority is the health and safety of our employees, customers, partners, the communities we serve, and the wider public. We strongly encourage people to get vaccinated. This is our best shot to reconnect!
This mandatory vaccination policy may shift as the virus abates, but we feel strongly this is the right time and the correct protocol for CII to reopen safely. We are confident the scientific community, which developed the vaccine in record time, will rally behind us on this first-of-its-kind policy.
Thank you so much for our employees continued diligence and dedication to CII. And please take care of yourself, your loved ones, and the people around you by prioritizing your health and well-being, said Phillips Kuhl, President of Cambridge Innovation Institute.
Supporting the Employees Vaccination Is Required for Employees Returning to the Office
CIIs office in Needham, Massachusetts remains open with safety measures in place and is only allowing limited capacity for now. In light of the evolving health situation, CII is continuously working to determine the safest approach and in-office schedule for employees gradually returning to the office safely.
To support the continued health and well-being of the employees, all employees who work in the office are required to be fully vaccinated. CII will have a process for those who cannot be vaccinated for medical or other reasons to ensure our return to office plans prioritize everyone's health and safety.
CII offers full pay to employees for any time off needed to get vaccinated as part of the corporate commitment to stopping the spread of COVID and keeping CIIs employees and work environment as safe as possible.
CII will continue to provide strong support to remote workers to adapt to the impacts of the outbreak and facilitate collaboration and productivity. The ongoing support includes technology and communication tools, online training sessions, mindfulness workshops, etc.
CII is closely monitoring the evolving situation and how the corporate implements and updates this policy will depend on local conditions and regulations.
Reuniting the Community Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for In-Person Event Participants
To ensure maximum safety, CII has instituted a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all 2021 in-person event participants across the corporate divisions - Cambridge Healthtech Institute, Cambridge EnerTech, and AI World.
In-person attendees will be asked to furnish proof of vaccination. Additional details on the vaccine policy will be provided upon registration. Attendees that cannot participate because of this policy, or due to travel restrictions, are encouraged to participate virtually using CIIs highly praised virtual event platform.
To take the uncertainties out of uncertain time, attendees have the flexibility to switch between in-person or virtual at any time leading up to conferences.
CII encourages mask-wearing at events. However, CII will follow all local and federal guidelines and recommendations on-site.
