JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (PRWEB) June 04, 2021 - To support those affected by ALS and their caregivers, Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL) is proud to sponsor the Jacksonville Walk to Defeat ALS event hosted by the ALS Association Florida Chapter. The vehicle parade was held on April 17 and started at 10 a.m. at at Seven Bridges Grille in Tinseltown. The event raised $234,284, reaching 78 percent of its $300,000 goal. The event is still accepting donations.

Money raised from annual ALS fundraisers supports people living with ALS and funds ALS research to find treatments and a cure for the disease. The ALS Florida chapter is one of more than 39 nationwide chapters providing comprehensive patient services and support to the ALS community. Through global research and nationwide advocacy, the ALS Association aims to empower people with Lou Gehrigs Disease and their families to live fuller lives with compassionate care and support.
