NEW YORK (PRWEB) October 04, 2021 - The Investment Integration Project (TIIP), an applied research and consulting firm, today announced a series of interactive events with the CFA Institute and CFA Societies of Boston, New York, and Philadelphia that focuses on the next evolution of investment managementsystems-level investing.

The four-part series kicks off Tuesday, October 5. The inaugural session, hosted by the CFA Society New York, will provide an overview of how system-level investors support and enhance the health and stability of the social, financial, and environmental systems on which they depend for long-term returns.

Were excited to be working with the CFA Institute and some of the nations top CFA Societies to demonstrate how investors can preserve and strengthen global systems while still generating competitive or otherwise acceptable performance, said TIIP President William Burckart.

The series will highlight key findings from 21st Century Investing: Redirecting Financial Strategies to Drive Systems Change, the paradigm-shifting book by Burckart and TIIP Founder Steve Lindenberg. The book provides a roadmap to help investors to integrate system-level risk and reward management into investment decision making. While ESG investing may consider social and environmental impacts, Burckart and Lydenberg show how investor decisions get reflected in the health of those essential systems, and what the implications are beyond current portfolio returns and risk profiles.

It will also draw on CFA Institute research, including, The Future of Sustainability in Investment Management, which advises moving beyond traditional ESG practices to integrate system level thinking on top of traditional investment thinking, in an additive and complementary way.

More Investors are realizing the need to include systems level thinking in the investment process, said Matt Orsagh, Senior Director of Capital Markets Policy at CFA Institute. This series could not be more timely.

The seminars will be online and open for members of all CFA societies.
