Platoon 22 Charitable Fund Established at Community Foundation

New fund supports services for veterans

FREDERICK, Md. (PRWEB) August 26, 2022 - The Platoon 22 Charitable Fund has been established with The Community Foundation of Frederick County and becomes one of its more than 770 component charitable funds.

Platoon 22s mission is to combat veteran suicide through education and awareness as well as by providing peer support and programs. Founded by Platoon 22, Inc., The Platoon 22 Charitable Fund supports local nonprofit organizations providing services to veterans of any branch of the United States Military, addressing the issues of entrepreneurship and extreme hardship or obstacles to better well-being.

The Community Foundation works with individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to establish charitable funds that provide grants to area nonprofits serving the community and scholarships to students.
