CHICAGO (PRWEB) February 07, 2022 - Chris Kanze, former CEO of Roobet and Chicago-based philanthropist, recently announced his donation of ten thousand dollars to the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless. Chris Kanze has a long history of philanthropic work in the Chicago area and has previously donated to local homeless shelters as well as children & youth charities. For this reason, Chris Kanze chose to donate to the reputable Chicago Coalition for the Homeless.
Today, the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless is the only nonprofit group in Illinois that advocates for public policies to help end homelessness. The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless team pushes public policies that address the lack of affordable housing across Illinois through community outreach and strategic policy campaigns. Chris Kanze recognizes the severe extent to which the lack of affordable housing within metropolitan Chicago has impacted Chicago residents, resulting in nearly 80,000 homeless Chicagoans each year. Now that the COVID-19 pandemic has worked to increase the number of homeless within Illinois, Chris Kanze believes it is now more important than ever to support local homeless shelters and charities.
Chris Kanze is committed to continuing his philanthropic work in 2022 and hopes to inspire those who have the financial means to also contribute to their choice of charity.
