VANCOUVER, Canada (PRWEB) June 13, 2023 - OPENINFRA SUMMIT The Open Infrastructure Foundation (OpenInfra Foundation) announced today that Okestro has elevated its commitment to the global community by becoming a Gold Member after joining a year ago as a Silver Member. Okestro is also Premier Sponsor of the OpenInfra Summit.

Okestro, the leading cloud software company in the Republic of Korea (South Korea), has witnessed unparalleled growth since its founding in 2018, boasting an average annual growth rate of 260% and expanding its workforce from its two founders to more than 260 employees. Okestro delivers a wide range of cloud services from IaaS, PaaS, CMP (Cloud Management Platform) to AIOps. The companys primary focus lies in developing and delivering cutting-edge cloud software solutions specifically designed for orchestrating multi-hybrid cloud data centers. In fact, Okestro designed and developed the e-Government Cloud Platform architecture, which serves as the core of South Korean government cloud data centers and IT services. The National Information Resources Service (NIRS), a pan-government private data center responsible for managing all public IT resources, also relies on Okestro's solutions as the foundation for their cloud services. Other Okestro clients in South Korea include the National Pension Service, H Financial Group, 'K' Bank and the National Ministry of Defense.

Okestros product Contrabass is an OpenStack-based IaaS platform that converts a customers legacy IT operating environment into an SDDC-based private cloud architecture. Other offerings include Trombone (a DevOps platform for automated CI/CD in multiple IaaS and PaaS environments), Viola (a customized Kubernetes-based container platform), Okestro CMP (a comprehensive multi-hybrid cloud data center management platform) and Symphony AI (an AI-powered AIOps solution that optimizes cloud resources management and cost.)

OpenStack and its flexible architecture form an ideal foundation for Okestros approach to cloud, and were proud to elevate our support of the OpenInfra Foundation, said Young Gwang Kim, CEO of Okestro. Our mission is to empower our clients clouds by providing them with the optimal orchestration platforms for their needs. In the future, Okestro plans to actively participate in OpenInfra Foundation community activities, widely publicize its OpenStack technology, and contribute to improving the technological capabilities of domestic and foreign companies that promote cloud business using OpenStack technology. We will share OpenInfra technology with others so that South Korea can lead the global cloud ecosystem.

Okestro has revolutionized the cloud ecosystem in South Korea and contributed to their own countrys digital transformation to an extent that few, if any, companies can claim, said Thierry Carrez, general manager of the OpenInfra Foundation. Our OpenInfra community benefits from their success in numerous ways, not the least of which is their strategy around contributing to the OpenStack project and their sponsorship of the OpenInfra Summit. Were thrilled to welcome Okestro as a Gold Member and look forward to all the inspiration and innovation that they have to offer.

The OpenInfra community in Asia is growing rapidly, in part accelerated by the momentum in South Korea. Fueled by the 12th largest group of OpenInfra Foundation community members in the world, South Korea is home to large-scale OpenInfra users including Kakao, SK Telecom, Samsung, NHN Cloud and Naver. To support this growth and priorities of the community in South Korea, Okestro is a founding participant of OpenInfra Asia, a regional hub announced at the OpenInfra Summit Vancouver today.
