BALTIMORE (PRWEB) April 14, 2023 - Both in-state and out-of-state students admitted for the 2023-24 academic year can be considered for NDMUs Promise Program after completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The University anticipates that first-time, full-time students with significant financial need, when admitted to the program, will receive a combination of institutional, federal, and state grant aid to cover their full tuition and fees. All students in the Promise Program will be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant program, as determined by the FAFSA.

Incoming residential students that are awarded the States Guaranteed Access Grant are guaranteed via NDMUs Promise Program to be awarded a combined financial aid package of grants and scholarships equivalent to tuition, fees, and room & board.

NDMUs Promise Program will provide the opportunity for more students to achieve their goal of earning a college degree, said Dr. Marylou Yam, president of Notre Dame of Maryland University. NDMU is committed to making it possible for students to realize their potential and receive an inclusive transformational education.

To be considered for the Promise Program, students are encouraged to apply for admission and complete the FAFSA as soon as possible using NDMU School Code 002065. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis.

NDMU offers a broad range of career-focused undergraduate programs with a liberal arts foundation, including business, nursing, education, art therapy, and the sciences. In addition, NDMU provides programs to help students build their leadership skills, engage in community service, participate in NCAA Division III athletics, and explore their interests in clubs and activities. Small class sizes and a caring community of dedicated faculty and staff provide additional support to help students succeed.
