Greenberg Traurigs Bill Michael Recognized as a 2022 Minnesota ICON

MINNEAPOLIS (PRWEB) October 24, 2022 - Bill Michael, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig, LLPs Minneapolis and Miami offices, was recognized by Minnesota Lawyer and Finance & Commerce as a 2022 Minnesota ICON.

Bill was selected for his ability to lead others, his achievements in the courtroom, and his mentorship efforts. According to the publications, the awards pay tribute to the titans of the boardroom and the courtroom, recognizing leaders who have left their indelible mark on Minnesotas business and legal communities. A panel of judges with legal and business expertise selected 2022 class of 15 honorees who will be recognized during an award ceremony at The Lumber Exchange in Minneapolis Dec. 8.

Any success I have is a direct result of the support of wonderful people I have had the pleasure of working with throughout my career both in the military and in the legal profession, Bill said.

Bill serves as a co-chair of Greenberg Traurigs Global Trial Practice. He is a former federal prosecutor and experienced trial lawyer, having served as lead counsel in more than 100 jury trials in federal and state courts across the country and is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He represents individuals and corporations in complex federal white collar and regulatory defense and internal investigations across a wide range of sectors. Bill advises clients in matters involving health care fraud, internal investigations, qui tam actions, money laundering, conspiracy, environmental matters, criminal antitrust, securities fraud, criminal tax, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). In addition, he is routinely brought in as lead trial counsel on various civil trials throughout the country.
