Dark Horse CPAs Announce Hiring of Brian McComas as Principal Accelerator

Brian earned a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Alabama along with a CPA license from the state of South Carolina. He brings to Dark Horse 16 years of experience with national and regional CPA firms in the areas of tax and accounting, serving a wide range of individuals and entities. For quite some time, Brian felt that the traditional business model of public accounting was begging for disruption, but he didnt see any alternatives outside of starting his own practice. In Dark Horse, he saw an opportunity to build a practice within a completely different business model than the firms of old.

When asked what made the Accelerator Program compelling, he responded, the longstanding public accounting business model needs a shakeup. It hasnt worked well for clients or accountants, since most firms have overworked their staff to the point of client services suffering substantially.
