FALLS CHURCH, Va. (PRWEB) November 18, 2022 - Lawrence Holzberg, LACP, LUTCF, President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is pleased to announce that Adam Sachs, CFP, CLU, ChFC, CLTC, AIF, a Financial Advisor with Centinel Financial Group, LLC, in Needham, MA, is the recipient of the inaugural 2023 NAIFA Presidents Citation.
Holzberg presented the citation to Sachs on November 14 at NAIFAs Belong awards celebration at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, D.C. in front of over 300 NAIFA members.
Sachs has been a loyal NAIFA member since 1994 and is a Past President of NAIFAs Massachusetts chapter (NAIFA-MA). He continues to serve on the NAIFA-MA Board. Sachs was the 2021 NAIFA-MA Membership Chair and is currently a Vice Chair of NAIFAs National Membership Committee. He has also served on NAIFAs IFAPAC Committee.
Adam Sachs has done great work on behalf of NAIFA as an innovative and tireless recruiter of new members and also as a leader in NAIFAs grassroots advocacy efforts. It is my honor to congratulate him as the first-ever recipient of the NAIFA Presidents Citation, said Holzberg. Adam has been a model member who is involved in multiple programs and generously gives his time and talent. He has worked with clients to testify before state regulators on important advocacy issues. He sets a shining example for NAIFA members who want to be more involved in elevating their industry, professional association, colleagues, and clients.
In 2010, Sachs was named the first-ever recipient of NAIFAs annual Young Advisor Team Leader of the Year award and since then has been actively involved with NAIFA at the state and national levels. He was the Q2 2021 recipient of NAIFAs Membership Hard Hat award. He is among NAIFAs leading new-member recruiters and a regular attendee of NAIFA events, including the National Leadership Conference and Congressional Conference. He is a graduate of NAIFAs Leadership in Life Institute and has earned NAIFAs Financial Security Advocate badge.
It is truly an honor to receive this acknowledgement, Sachs said. I care so much about NAIFA, as it stands for excellence in helping our clients and industry.
The NAIFA Presidents Citation is a new award designed to recognize volunteer leaders who have shown extraordinary dedication to NAIFA and performed services to the association above and beyond expectations. The NAIFA Office of the President may select one Presidents Citation recipient each year.
